Privacy Policy

This page explains what information FedTrades collects, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

What we collect

• Email address — to send your weekly digest, account notices, and respond to your messages.
• Name, company, trade, and state — if you provide them, so we can send listings relevant to your shop.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe passes us only what's needed to manage your subscription (such as plan status).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We don't share it beyond the processors that keep the service running (like our payment processor and email delivery provider), and only for the purpose of running FedTrades.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences — things like your selected state, saved listings, and filter choices — directly on your device. This isn't used to track you across other sites, and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing from marketing emails won't affect service notices tied to an active subscription (like billing confirmations) unless you also cancel the subscription itself.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after cancellation in case you resubscribe or for recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to what we're required to keep for billing and legal purposes.
